Emily Reuter is Chief Financial Officer for Instacart, overseeing finance, accounting, and corporate development.

Before joining Instacart in 2024, Reuter spent nearly a decade at Uber, where she most recently served as Head of Corporate Finance driving Uber’s short and long-term capital allocation decisions. Throughout her tenure at Uber, she was CFO of Uber’s Mobility (Rides) Business – its most profitable segment – Head of Investor Relations, and spent time in Corporate Development, Capital Markets and Business Development. Prior to Uber, Reuter spent time in management consulting, private equity, and corporate strategy.

Reuter has served on the board of directors of Pinterest since September 2025 and as a member of its audit committee. From 2021 to 2025, she served on the board of the Homeless Prenatal Program, a nationally recognized family resource center in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families. She served as treasurer beginning in 2022. She is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Stanford University Graduate School of Business with a Master of Business Administration.
