Tom Maguire is Head of Operations at Instacart, where he leads the support and operations functions. 

From launch to scale, Maguire has a decade of experience in starting and growing gig economy businesses from the ground up. Prior to joining Instacart, Maguire held a series of roles at Uber from starting as General Manager, launching ridesharing in communities, to leading operations in the United States & Canada. Maguire began his career at Goldman Sachs in the currency and derivatives space. Prior to working in the gig economy, Maguire held positions working in international launch at Amazon and consulting for food & beverage companies at Kearney.

Maguire is a graduate of New York University's Stern School receiving a Bachelors of Science in Finance and International Business and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University. Maguire is also the executive sponsor of Advocates@, an Employee Resource Group focused on strengthening the Instacart community by celebrating and uplifting diverse voices through programming focused on diversity training, development, and social impact.
