New partnership brings Instacart’s grocery and retail marketplace to Skip, while Skip’s 50,000+ national and local restaurant partners become available to Instacart customers.

Starting today, Skip customers can access Instacart's grocery and retail marketplace directly through the Skip app, while Instacart customers gain access to Skip's network of more than 50,000 national and local restaurant partners in the Instacart app.

How it works:

Ordering Instacart-powered grocery and retail directly through Skip provides the best of both worlds: maximum convenience with zero hassle. With everything now available in one app, Canadians can order weekly groceries, specialty retail, and favourite local restaurant meals all in one spot.

Skip:

• Open the Skip app and tap the grocery icon within the Skip app

• Browse Instacart’s network of 130+ retail banners and over 9,000 locations in Canada

• Once a store is selected, customers will be seamlessly redirected to Instacart’s platform to browse its live catalog and place an order

• Every order is then picked in-store by an experienced Instacart shopper to select the freshest produce, check expiration dates, offer substitutions, and handle fragile items with care.

• Open the Instacart app and tap the restaurant icon

• Browse Skip's network of 50,000+ national and local restaurants

• Once a restaurant is selected, follow the in-app prompts to place your order 

• A Skip courier brings your food right to your door

To celebrate the new partnership, Skip will be popping up in Toronto and Calgary with a larger-than-life giant grocery cart taking over the streets, overflowing with all the things Canadians can now access through this partnership.
